Islamic countries are generally those where Islam is the predominant religion or where the state is officially Islamic. Here is a list of countries with significant Muslim populations or those that identify as Islamic states:
This list includes countries with predominantly Muslim populations as well as those where Islam has a significant cultural or political influence. Some countries, such as India and Nigeria, have large Muslim communities but are not officially Islamic states.
