On April 18, the air defenses of the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully shot down an American MQ-9 drone over Sana’a province.
This incident marks the 24th MQ-9 drone downed throughout the Yemeni conflict, with 20 of these drones being downed during the operation aimed at aiding Palestine, titled “Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad. “

The loss of these MQ-9s represents a significant cost for the US military, estimated at $736 million.
