Islah Party militants launched an attack on Ansar Allah positions from the Al-Balaq heights on the western front of Marib province. However, the attack was unsuccessful and repelled by Ansar Allah.
The Al-Balaq heights, known for the intense clashes between Ansar Allah and Saudi coalition forces in 2021, are located to the west and south of Marib city. These heights play a crucial role in defending Saudi coalition positions. Its strategic location and dominance over the surrounding fronts have prevented Ansar Allah from advancing into Marib city, despite their land superiority over the years.
